We have already reported Antivirus for Facebook, developed by Norton, that allows you to scan the links on your bulletin board and report any threats to both you and Norton. This virus is called Norton Safe Web has also recently added a new option to auto-scan the links on Facebook (Enable it by clicking on “Enable Auto-Scan”), published by the links you and your friends will be well controlled and signaled by a green badge if they are safe or orange or red if they are dangerous.
Another new tool to control your Facebook is called Face Infected, a web site (and application) that allows you to scan not only links but also your messages for viruses and malware. If you think you have been infected by a virus, that your friends send you suspicious links in messages, or posting links to your friends pages with virus then is the tool for you.
All you have to do is go on http://www.faceinfected.com/ and click “Start”, after having approved the application can choose to scan the messages on walls, private messages or on the links sent in by friends.
